What GoatMaker collects

GoatMaker collects the information needed to run the closed beta: the email address you use to request access, receive magic links, and sign in.

If you request beta access, GoatMaker may also store the optional name and note you submit so the beta request can be reviewed and responded to appropriately.

If you connect a Sleeper account, GoatMaker can store your Sleeper username, Sleeper user ID, connection timestamps, and the league data needed to render your dashboard tools.

How GoatMaker uses the data

GoatMaker uses collected data to:

  • review beta invite requests and manage invite status
  • send magic-link login emails and beta invite emails
  • create and validate login sessions
  • sync and display Sleeper-linked league information inside the product
  • monitor abuse, service reliability, and support issues during the beta
  • measure key beta flows such as invite requests, login requests, league sync, and core page opens

Cookies and session handling

After you verify a magic link, GoatMaker places session cookies in your browser so the app can keep you signed in across dashboard pages.

These session cookies are used for authentication and site operation, not for a third-party advertising network.

Ads, sponsor placements, and sharing

GoatMaker now serves internal GoatMaker house ads in the authenticated product experience. Those placements promote GoatMaker features and do not require loading a third-party ad network by default during the beta.

GoatMaker can be configured to use a third-party ad provider later. If that changes for the beta, this policy will be updated to reflect the provider and any related data flows.

GoatMaker may share data with service providers needed to operate the beta, such as email delivery and infrastructure hosting, but it does not sell your personal data as part of the current product.

Questions and updates

GoatMaker currently uses structured monitoring and basic product analytics during the beta. This policy may still be updated if third-party ad delivery, additional analytics, or expanded monitoring providers are introduced later.
